For its part, the Western hegemon set in motion all its machinery to overcome the inadequate initial control of the pandemic, as it actively participated in the development of vaccines, in addition to monopolizing a significant percentage of the vials produced in Europe and in the United States itself. In this context, the Mexican State in its efforts to contain the pandemic and obtain both medical supplies and vaccines for the population has been a hinge State that must act with great caution and diplomacy to balance the pressures that both superpowers may exert to have greater influence and increase their interests in national territory, using the provision of supplies to contain the global pandemic that will affect us for some time.
