Política y seguridad nacional en la configuración del orden biopolítico

Abstract

La política entendida como el arte de gobernar intenta incidir en la vida humana y con ello organizarla y sobre todo protegerla de las amenazas y riesgos que tanto en el ámbito internacional como en el nacional le pueden poner en peligro. De ahí, que en los tiempos recientes se ha construido un orden biopolítico ligado a los instrumentos de seguridad nacional de cada país y estos a su vez a la lógica global. Por lo que el objetivo del presente ensayo fue el de analizar las condiciones e instrumentos que tiene el Estado-Nación ante el orden global, así como su responsabilidad con la vida humana, para ello se recurrió al marco teórico desarrollado por Michel Foucault sobre biopoder y gubernamentalidad. Este trabajo propuso una serie de escenarios, donde se interrelacionaron las fortalezas, oportunidades, debilidades y amenazas del orden biopolítico actual.

Politics understood as the art of governing tries to influence human life and thereby organize it and above all protect it from threats and risks that, both internationally and nationally, can put it in danger. Hence, in recent times a biopolitical order has been built linked to the national security instruments of each country and these in turn to global logic. Therefore, the objective of this essay was to analyze the conditions and instruments that the Nation-State has in the face of the global order, as well as its responsibility with human life. To do this, the theoretical framework developed by Foucault on biopower and governmentality. This work proposed a series of scenarios, where the strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats of the current biopolitical order were interrelated.
