Breve análisis del sistema de formación de oficiales de las fuerzas armadas mexicanas

Abstract

La educación militar constituye el pilar en el que se fundamenta la formación de los líderes de las Fuerzas Armadas Mexicanas. En este contexto, este artículo presenta un breve resumen del trabajo de investigación elaborado para obtener el grado de Doctor en Defensa y Seguridad Nacional que ofrece el Centro de Estudios Superiores Navales. El objeto de estudio de la investigación comprende el análisis del Cuerpo de Oficiales y su Sistema de Formación, con el propósito de generar conocimiento sobre un aspecto que tiene vinculaciones diversas con la Seguridad Nacional y sobre el que, paradójicamente, se advierte un marcado desconocimiento en los ámbitos político, académico y social en México.

Military education is the pillar on which the formation of the leaders of the Mexican Armed Forces is based. In this context, this article is a brief summary of the research work prepared to obtain the degree of Doctor of Defense and National Security offered by the Center for Naval Higher Studies. The purpose of the research study includes the analysis of the Officer Corps and its Training System, with the purpose of generating knowledge about an aspect that has various links with National Security and on which paradoxically there is a marked ignorance in the political, academic and social fields in Mexico.
