Integración del poder aéreo de las fuerzas armadas en acciones militares conjuntas

Abstract

Hoy en día es común creer que en México la preparación para la defensa exterior de la Federación es tiempo perdido; no se vislumbra un conflicto exterior y a decir verdad los militares somos los primeros en festejar eso. Las Fuerzas Armadas estamos conscientes de que sufrimos un alejamiento histórico de nuestra misión principal, abrumados por las innumerables tareas que el Estado demanda de nosotros y seriamente comprometidos en actividades como la protección civil y el combate a la delincuencia organizada. No obstante, y aunque sea un discurso trillado, nuestro deber es manifestarlo una y todas las veces que sean necesarias; no importa cuántas tareas ajenas hagamos, nuestro objetivo primordial siempre será estar preparados para defender la soberanía e integridad nacionales.

Today, it is very common to believe that the preparation for the external defense of the federation in Mexico is a waste of time. There is no visible external conflict, and we, the military, are the first ones to celebrate it. In the Armed Forces, we know that we go through an historical remoteness of our main mission, and we are overwhelmed by the endless tasks demanded by the Government. Also, we are seriously committed in civilian protection and fighting organized crime. However, and even if it sound like a cliché, our duty is to express it over and over as needed it; it does not matter how many external tasks we do; our main objective will always be to be prepared to defend our national sovereignty and integrity.
