Conceptos sobre manejo de información en mando y control

Abstract

El trabajo se refiere al tema de los conceptos de información en Mando y Control a través de tres ejes: la importancia de la información como herramienta de combate, la integración y sincronización de conceptos que tratan de ella y dónde operan los conceptos. Lo anterior se expone con base a las siguientes preguntas: ¿Qué es Mando y Control? ¿Qué es guerra de Mando y Control? ¿Dónde operan los conceptos de manejo de información? ¿Qué organismos de la Armada de México hacen uso de esos conceptos? Es importante señalar que la serie de conceptos presentados, al final se muestran ordenados en una matriz conforme a los niveles de guerra que la Doctrina de la Armada de México contempla y de lo general a lo particular, se inicia con la definición de información siguiendo con la comunicación estratégica. El objetivo de presentarlos de esa manera es su pronta referencia, y hacer más ágil su consulta y ubicación, al tiempo que puedan ser aplicados sincronizadamente para cumplir eficazmente la misión que el Mando ordene. Lo anterior dará una posición privilegiada frente al enemigo y permitirá sacar ventaja del sistema de Mando y Control.

The article concerns information concepts in Command and Control through three axes: the importance of information as a combat tool; the integration and synchronization of concepts related to it; and where the concepts operate. The previous is based on the following questions: 1. What is Command and Control? 2. What is Command and Control warfare? 3. Where do the concepts of information management operate? 4. Which entities within the Mexican Navy use these concepts? It is essential to highlight that the series of concepts introduced at the end are orderly displayed in a matrix according to the levels of war, which are reckoned by the Mexican Navy’s doctrine in general and in particular. The definition of information comes first and the definition of strategic communications follows. The objective of such introduction is due to be referred quickly and making easier its location and consultation; and at the same time, they can be applied synchronously to efficiently fulfill the mission given by the Command. The previous will give a privileged position while facing the enemy and it will allow getting benefits of the command and control system.
